The EuroSW1 45° Elbow Ø 175mm is engineered for high-performance and durability, suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with operating temperatures up to 600°C. Made from zero carbon steel, this single skin connecting flue system is designed exclusively for connecting your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. It should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
Proper installation is crucial, ensuring the smaller diameter points downward to keep condensates within the flue system. This friction-fit joint eliminates the need for sealants, though fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used for added security. Ensure all exposed steel is covered with high temperature paint to prevent rusting.
Regular maintenance, including chimney inspections and cleanings, is essential, especially for solid fuel appliances. Installing a EuroSW1 with access doors at directional changes will facilitate this maintenance.
