Manufactured from high-quality zero carbon steel, it ensures robustness and longevity within your fire system setup. This product is intended solely as a connecting pipe between your appliance and the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system.
It is crucial to note that the EuroSW1 should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls due to its single-skin construction.When installing, ensure a minimum distance of 540mm from any combustible materials to ensure safety. The EuroSW1 should always be installed with the smaller diameter pointing downward to prevent any condensates from escaping the flue system, thus maintaining pipe integrity and appearance. For additional security, consider using a jointing compound, such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant, although the friction-fit joints do not require sealing per standard.This product can be cut to size if necessary, though it is essential to cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time.
Adequate PPE should always be worn during the installation process. Regular maintenance is crucial, particularly for solid fuel applications. Installing a EuroSW1 with access doors at direction changes is recommended for easy inspection and cleaning, ensuring your chimney system remains in optimal condition.
