The EuroSW1 - 90° Tee - Ø 175mm - Ø 175mm is an essential component when you need to connect a flue to the rear outlet of an appliance. Crafted from high-quality zero carbon steel, this single skin connecting flue system is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C. It's designed exclusively for use as a connecting pipe between your appliance and the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system.
It should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls to ensure safety.Installation requires keeping a minimum distance of 540mm from any combustible materials such as wood or plasterboards. Ensure you fit it correctly, with the smaller diameter pointing downwards to contain all condensates within the flue system. Friction fit joints of the EuroSW1 - 90° Tee mean sealing with a jointing compound isn’t necessary but can be done for extra peace of mind using fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant.
For length adjustments, the pipe can be cut, but exposed steel must be treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.Maintenance is straightforward, with provisions for inspection and cleaning through access doors, particularly vital for solid fuel systems. Regular sweeping is recommended at least once a year to maintain efficiency and safety.
