The VIT-Smooth 500mm Pipe (Ø 150mm) is a high-quality connecting flue pipe designed for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances capable of reaching temperatures up to 600°. Constructed from zero carbon steel with a durable powder vitreous enamel coating in a matt black finish, this pipe delivers both functionality and aesthetic appeal.Ideal for connecting your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, the VIT-Smooth pipe ensures a perfect fit with its friction joint system, eliminating the need for sealing. For extra security, jointing compounds such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be applied.Note that the VIT-Smooth should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls and must be installed correctly, with the smaller diameter pointing downwards to keep condensates within the system.
Maintenance is also simplified with the option to include access doors for easy inspection and cleaning, crucial for solid fuel systems. Installing this pipe requires appropriate PPE and should adhere to safety guidelines.
