Ideal for connecting your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, the VIT-Smooth pipe is not suitable for traversing ceilings or combustible walls.
Installation is straightforward with its friction fit joints, and no additional sealing is required. However, joint compounds like fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used for added security. For longevity, ensure that any exposed steel is treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.
Maintenance is crucial, especially for solid fuel applications, so incorporating inspection and cleaning points within your setup is highly recommended.
