Additionally, integrating the pot hanger with a terminal prevents water and vermin ingress, ensuring your appliance remains dry and uncontaminated. Suitable for both third-party terminals and open terminations, the pot hanger’s skirt effectively seals the chimney top.Maintenance is straightforward as the system is designed for easy sweeping and regular upkeep. It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept at least twice a year by a competent person, ideally a HETAS registered sweep.
