Crafted from zero carbon steel and coated with a matte black vitreous enamel finish, this single-skin connecting pipe can withstand temperatures up to 600°C, ensuring longevity and durability. With a P1 pressure rating achievable up to 200°C when sealed, it’s suitable for various heating systems including gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances.Installation is straightforward, with a friction fit joint that eliminates the need for sealing at high temperatures.
For pellet installations where positive pressure is present, ensure to place seals on every joint. Importantly, MI-VIT Lite should not be installed within 375mm of combustible materials like wood or plasterboard and must not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.Regular maintenance is crucial for solid fuel applications, and designing the system with access doors at direction changes facilitates easy inspection and cleaning. Adhering to proper installation guidelines and using high-temperature paint on any cut edges will significantly extend the product's lifespan.
