Fire cement, ceramic rope, tape, or high-temperature sealant are recommended for added security and efficacy.In addition to its installation benefits, this gather hood incorporates an adaptor, helping gas flow from the fireplace to the chimney liner efficiently. Maintenance is straightforward; yearly cleaning and inspections are advised, especially for solid fuel applications.
