The Joist Support - Ø 150 is a crucial component for ensuring the safety and integrity of your chimney flue system. This joist support is ideal for use with solid fuel and gas/oil appliances such as woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil and gas boilers, and other solid fuel devices. Constructed with durability in mind, the outer skin features 304-grade stainless steel at a thickness of 0.4mm, while the inner skin is crafted from 316-grade stainless steel of the same thickness.
The insulation comprises densely packed compressed rockwool, offering superior thermal properties with a density of 200kg/m3 for TWPro and 128kg/m3 for KC. All components are fully welded to ensure robust performance. It boasts a distance to combustibles of 50mm for TWPro and 60mm for KC.
This product is HETAS Approved, CE marked, and holds designation numbers TWPro EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50 and TWPro EN1856-1 T200 W V2 L50040 O20, among others. Installation is straightforward, requiring just the use of a locking band to secure the twin wall insulated chimney parts. Ensure to maintain the stipulated distance from the flue's exterior to any combustible materials.
