Our Fire Rope comes in a generous 25-meter roll with a 10mm diameter, making it an excellent choice for sealing doors and lids on solid fuel stoves and boilers. Crafted from high-quality woven glass fibres, this rope ensures a snug fit and superior heat resistance. To install, first clean away any old rope and remove any loose metal from the locating channel.
Apply Fire Rope Adhesive as per the instructions on the container, then press the Fire Rope firmly into the channel. Cut the rope with scissors to form an end-to-end butt joint. Allow a fifteen-minute curing time before closing the doors to ensure a secure seal.
This essential after-care part prolongs the efficiency and safety of your heating system.
