The EuroSW1 Tee Cap, Ø 125mm, is an essential flue system accessory designed for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C. Manufactured from zero carbon steel, this single-skin component ensures secure and efficient operation. Ideal for capping the base of a tee, it's complete with a joint clip, providing reliable access for sweeping and maintenance purposes.
Please remember to install this product as a connecting pipe between your appliance and flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, but not to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. For safe installation, keep a distance of at least 375mm from combustible materials and ensure it is installed the correct way up. This mitigates the risk of condensate escaping and maintains the system's efficiency.
Though the friction-fit joint doesn't require sealing, adding a jointing compound can offer additional security. For longevity, cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Regular inspection and cleaning are recommended, especially for solid fuel applications, to maintain the chimney’s performance.
