The VIT-Smooth Traditional Stove Pipe 500mm - Ø 125mm is a meticulously engineered connecting pipe designed to link your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Manufactured from zero-carbon steel and coated in a matte black powder vitreous enamel, this pipe is both robust and stylish. Ideal for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures reaching up to 600°C, it ensures safe and efficient operation.
However, it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. The VIT-Smooth pipe features a friction-fit joint that does not require sealing but can be secured further with a jointing compound for added security. Maintenance is straightforward, with access doors available for inspection and cleaning, particularly crucial for solid fuel applications.
The pipe should be installed 375mm away from combustible materials and oriented correctly to prevent condensate leakage. Cutting the pipe is possible but requires high-temperature paint on exposed steel to prevent rusting. Always wear appropriate PPE during installation.
