Remember, it's designed to be used as a connecting pipe and is not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation is straightforward with a friction fit joint, but for added security, joints can be coated with a high temperature silicone sealant. Ensure any cut sections are treated with high temperature paint to prevent rust.
Always install the smaller diameter downward to trap condensates inside the flue system, preserving the pipe's appearance and functionality. Make sure to follow maintenance guidelines, particularly for solid fuel appliances, to ensure the longevity and efficiency of your chimney system.
