It's essential to note that the VIT-Smooth pipe is for connecting the appliance to the Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System and should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
Installation is straightforward, but you must maintain a safe distance of 375mm from combustible materials. The VIT-Smooth's friction fit joints do not need sealing, although jointing compounds can provide extra security. Regular maintenance is crucial, particularly for solid fuel systems, and installing access doors at direction changes will facilitate easy cleaning and inspection.
