The VIT-Smooth GLOSS 500mm Pipe with a 125mm diameter is highly versatile, suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C. Constructed from zero carbon steel and coated in a durable, glossy black powder vitreous enamel finish, this pipe promises longevity and excellent performance. Designed exclusively as a connecting pipe between your appliance and either a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, it should never be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls for safety reasons.
Installation is made easy with its friction-fit joints, eliminating the need for additional seals. However, for those seeking extra security, joints can be additionally sealed using high-temperature silicone or fire cement. Be sure to install the pipe in the correct orientation to prevent condensate leakage, and maintain adequate clearance from combustible materials.
Regular maintenance, including yearly chimney sweeps for solid fuel systems, is recommended to preserve optimal performance.
