Fabricated using zero carbon steel and finished with a powder vitreous enamel coating in elegant matt black, this single-skin flue pipe is both durable and visually appealing. It is specifically designed to create a seamless connection between your appliance and the Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System.
Notably, the VIT-Smooth pipe should not be used to penetrate ceilings or combustible walls. This pipe features an access door, which simplifies maintenance and allows for easy inspection and cleaning of the chimney, essential for solid fuel applications. The robust friction-fit joint system ensures a secure fit without the need for sealing, though jointing compounds can be used for additional security.
Care should be taken to install the pipe with the smaller diameter pointing downward, thereby containing any condensates within the flue system. Additionally, this pipe can be cut to size, provided exposed steel is coated with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time. Always wear appropriate PPE during installation to maintain safety.
