Designed specifically for use with the MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, this 400mm square plate is crafted to support the vertical weight of the flue liner from the top of the stack. It ensures your chimney system remains robust and compliant with Building Regulations Document J, which mandates that a flexible flue liner must be fully enclosed within a masonry chimney.
The Top Plate Ø 80 is suitable for appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C and can be used with various fuels, including wood (with less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil.To maintain the integrity of your chimney system, it's crucial to ensure your chimney stack is properly weatherproofed and that the structure is sound. The Top Plate works seamlessly with the Top Clamp and Top Insert Sleeve to distribute the weight of the flue liner, providing excellent support and durability. Regular maintenance, including sweeping by a HETAS registered professional at least twice a year for solid fuel systems, is recommended to keep your chimney in optimal condition.
Avoid using chemical cleaners or mild steel tools on stainless steel chimneys to prevent damage.
