Perfectly engineered for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, this increaser effectively enhances the overall performance and safety of your chimney system. It is suitable for multi-fuel applications including wood (<20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances sustaining temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation).Building Regulations Document J stipulates that a flexible flue liner must be entirely enclosed within a masonry chimney.
The Screw-FIX Long Tail Increaser ensures compliance with these regulations and guarantees a gas-tight seal when used in conjunction with fire cement, ceramic rope, tape, or high-temperature sealant. Regular maintenance and sweeping by a HETAS registered sweep are recommended to prevent blockages and maintain optimum performance.
