Constructed from durable 1mm 316 stainless steel, it can withstand temperatures of up to 600°C, making it suitable for use with wood (<20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances.
In compliance with Building Regulations Document J, this adaptor ensures safety and performance by requiring that the flexible flue liner is fully enclosed within a masonry chimney, avoiding non-masonry enclosures. For optimal sealing, it is advised to use fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealant. Easy to maintain, the system design allows for efficient cleaning and regular inspections.
HETAS registered sweeps recommend sweeping chimneys serving solid fuel appliances at least twice a year.
