The RES 3 EPDM Flashing, accommodating external pipe diameters of 275mm to 450mm (11 to 18 inches), ensures a reliable seal for tiled roofs. Constructed with an environmentally safe, lead-free aluminium base, this flashing provides excellent durability. The EPDM rubber upstand is designed to withstand temperatures ranging from -55°C to 135°C and boasts a lifespan of 20 years.
The built-in 20° pitch offers flexibility to adapt to almost any roof angle, including up to 45°. The innovative pull-tab design and smooth tear grooving simplify the installation process, eliminating the need for a knife and enabling a precise circular cut. To install, use pliers to adjust the pull-tab design to the correct size or cut with a Stanley knife.
Apply silicone sealant to the back of the flashing, remove tiles around the pipe, slide the flashing over the pipe, fasten it to the roof, and cut the tiles to fit around the top, allowing the metal base to rest on top of the tiles. This seamless installation ensures maximum protection for your roofing system.
