Building Regulations Document J underscores the necessity of enclosing flexible flue liners within masonry chimneys — non-masonry enclosures like timber or plasterboard are not acceptable.
Suitable for appliances up to 600°C, this kit is perfect for wood (less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil. The package includes a top plate, top clamp, top insert, nose cone, adaptor to black pipe or single wall flue, and a chimney notice plate. Routine maintenance and sweeping should be carried out by a competent person at least once or twice a year to ensure optimal performance and safety.
