The Nose Cone - Ø 100 is part of the MF20 MI-FLEX accessory range, designed for use with 316 and 904 MI-FLEX multi-fuel flexible flue liners. This crucial fitting simplifies the installation process by attaching to the leading end of the liner, enabling it to be easily pulled down an existing chimney without snagging. Compliant with Building Regulations Document J, this nose cone ensures that the flexible flue liner is properly installed within a masonry chimney, making it unsuitable for non-masonry enclosures.
Rated for use on appliances up to 600°C (T600 designation), it supports various fuels including wood (with less than 20% moisture content), smokeless coal, gas, and oil. Regular maintenance and sweeping are essential to keep the chimney system in optimal condition. It is recommended to sweep chimneys serving solid fuel appliances at least twice a year.
