The MI-VIT Lite Reducer Ø 150-130mm is an essential connecting pipe designed for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures reaching up to 600 degrees Celsius. This single skin flue component, crafted from zero carbon steel and featuring a durable vitreous enamel coating in a sleek matt black finish, ensures both functionality and aesthetic appeal in your flue system.This reducer should only serve as a connecting pipe between your appliance and your Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Never use it to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.With the MI-VIT Lite, you’re guaranteed a friction fit that doesn’t require sealing for high-temperature installations (T600).
However, for pellet installations where positive pressure exists (P1 applications), seals on every joint are a must. Remember, don't place this product within 450mm of combustible materials like wood or plasterboard.Installation should see the smaller diameter pointing downward to retain condensates within the flue system. While the product can be cut to size, make sure to protect any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.Regular maintenance is key, particularly for solid fuel applications, where annual chimney sweeps are recommended.
