The MI-VIT Lite 500mm Pipe Damper Section Ø 125 is a high-performance flue pipe, ideal for connecting your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Crafted from zero carbon steel with a durable vitreous enamel coating in a sleek, matte black finish, this pipe can withstand temperatures up to 600°C. It is designed for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, ensuring reliable operation across diverse heating systems.
This 500mm pipe features a built-in damper arm and blade to help regulate flue draft and manage the flow of flue gases effectively. Notably, it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation must maintain a minimum distance of 375mm from combustible materials, and appropriate PPE should be worn.
The friction fit joint makes installation hassle-free, though seals are required for P1 applications. Regular maintenance, including annual chimney sweeping for solid fuel systems, is recommended to keep the system in top shape.
