The MI-VIT Lite is specifically designed as a connecting pipe and should not be used to pass through combustible materials like ceilings or walls. Its single skin construction ensures a friction fit joint, making installation straightforward without needing additional seals for high-temperature applications. For pellet installations with positive pressure, seals must be applied to each joint.
The pipe is also cuttable, but remember to cover exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Regular inspection and cleaning are recommended, especially for solid fuel applications, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
