The MI-VIT Lite Adjustable Pipe 300mm - Ø 150 is an essential component for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C. Crafted from zero carbon steel with a protective vitreous enamel coating, this pipe boasts robustness and longevity in any high-temperature setup. It’s designed specifically for connecting your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System.
Note, it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation is straightforward, but remember to maintain a safe distance from combustible materials and always install with the smaller diameter pointing downward to keep condensates contained within the system. For installations involving positive pressure (P1 applications), ensure that all joints are sealed appropriately.
Regular maintenance is key for optimum performance, particularly for solid fuel applications, which should ideally be inspected and cleaned at least once a year. MI-VIT Lite pipes can be cut to size, but any exposed steel must be treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time.
