It’s crucial to note that this pipe should only serve as a connector between your appliance and the existing flue components, such as the Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, and should not pass through ceilings or combustible materials.Installation is straightforward, thanks to the friction fit joint, which eliminates the need for sealing parts. For added security and to prevent condensate leakage, joints can be coated with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant. Proper installation is vital, ensuring the smaller diameter points downward to contain condensates within the flue system.
Always remember to use appropriate PPE during the installation process, and apply high-temperature paint on any exposed steel after cutting to prevent rusting.Regular maintenance is essential, particularly for solid fuel applications, where frequent sweeping and inspections are recommended.
