The Ø 225 External Clay Pot Adaptor - Ø 150 serves as an essential component for smoothly connecting to the bottom of a chimney stack with an existing clay liner, especially when a chimney flue liner isn’t installed. Crafted from durable 1mm thick stainless steel grade 316, this adaptor promises longevity and robust construction. For installation, simply slide the clay adaptor over the protruding clay liner and seal the cavity with fire cement or high-temperature sealant.
A single wall pipe can then be easily affixed over the adaptor's spigot, secured again with fire cement and/or fire rope for an airtight seal. Ensure to smoke test the existing clay liner to confirm its condition before installation for optimal safety and performance.
