The Ø 225 External Clay Pot Adaptor - Ø 125 is essential for connecting the bottom of a chimney stack that features a clay liner but where no chimney flue liner is installed. Crafted from premium-grade 316 stainless steel, with a thickness of 1mm, this clay pot adaptor ensures durability and robustness. Before installing this adaptor, the existing clay liner must be smoke tested to confirm it is in good condition.
Installation is straightforward: simply slide the adaptor over the protruding clay liner, then seal the cavity with fire cement or high-temperature sealant. The single-wall pipe can be placed over the adaptor's spigot, finishing off with fire cement or fire rope to ensure a secure seal.
